It is definitely recommended that you level up a bit before attempting to venture too far into Azeroth, as if you don’t, you can get stuck in a vicious cycle of trying to outrun monsters that have ten levels on you, only to be caught up with every few hundred feet and killed with one or two blows from some blunt weapons or animal fangs. This is time consuming and frustrating, but can usually be avoided quite easily by teaming up with five or six other level 5s, which is about the level you will be at when you realize just how inadequate a level 5 is by him/herself, and you will then most likely seek out the company of some like-minded individuals who, like you, want to explore without getting drooled on by giant creatures. And no matter what anybody says, five or six level 5s can whip it up on about any low level beast in the early stages of WoW, no problem!

As for the graphics? They are pretty nice. The landscape is intriguing, and while it lacks some small minute details, it makes up for it by providing a very diverse and imaginary landscape through which you can walk freely and enjoy, either by yourself or with your friends. Combat is intense, and will leave you excited and looking for another fight. It is not slow and boring, like some RPGs have a tendency to be.

As for the gameplay? Well, lets put it this way, World of Warcraft is an MMORPG for a reason If you tried to play this game as a single player game, you would get bored SO FAST its not even funny But what keeps WoW alive, thriving, and exciting, is the multiplayer element, and the level of social interaction you can immerse yourself in. Everything, even the small things, like txt chatting, or even vocal chatting if you have the setup for it, make this game so much fun in the way that it is a great game to play with friends, or even make new friends on! Also, being able to form parties and go on adventures together helps make this game so much fun to play with friends that you will probably spend hours, and hours, and hours laughing, yelling, and really getting into the game.

So, what is World of Warcraft exactly? It is a place where you can go to hang out with your friends in a cool looking 3D world, filled with danger, intrigue, dangerous beasts, and a ton of fun. I mean, where else can you party up with friends for a few hours to slay mindless zombie soldiers, clad in rusty armor, risen from some old, forgotten war? It is the social aspect of this game that ties all things together when considering WoW as a game, and it is highly recommended for this reason. So basically, if you enjoy gaming, enjoy friends, and enjoy a free roam environment where you can slaughter mindless monsters and embark on epic quests with a group of your closest friends than WoW will probably be your favorite game of all time.
